Blazer Jobs is currently hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve school districts in Arlington, VA, for the 20252026 school calendar year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to support student communication development in a dynamic school setting.
Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based | Contract
Pay Rate: Starting at $49/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services and document student progress

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Ensure compliance with IDEA and Virginia state regulations
Federal and Virginia State Requirements:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution

Valid Virginia license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
-
Successful completion of required background checks (including FBI and State Police)

Authorization to work legally in the United States
